Female Robbed in Busy Parking Lot After Leaving Bank


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery by force (purse snatching).

On Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1:58 pm, the complainant was walking in the parking lot at the Thanh Binh Market, located at 6801 South Kirkwood, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she had just walked out of the Bank of America, located in the same parking lot, and was walking to the store to buy groceries, when a white Chevrolet Silverado truck drove up to her. An unknown male then exited the back driver’s side door and quickly approached the complainant from behind. The male then forcibly grabbed the complainant’s purse off her shoulder and then got back into the truck and fled the scene. Houston PD #1688082-19

Vehicle description: 2005 to 2007 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab with large black and aluminum aftermarket wheelsThe complainant described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 30 to 33 years old, gray hoodie and khaki pants.
