Complainant took a picture of the suspect vehicle before it fled the area after a report of a hit and run incident

On February 29^th officers responded to a report of a hit and run accident in the 2200 block of Gresham. During the investigation, officers learned that the complainant was driving south on Pruett when another vehicle, which was traveling west on Gresham and entered the intersection without yielding and struck the complainant’s vehicle. The complainant and suspect driver both exited their vehicles but when the complainant asked the suspect for his information he got back in his vehicle and fled the scene before information could be exchanged and before officers arrived. The complainant was able to take a picture of the suspect vehicle before it fled the area. Police are investigating.
