On April 10th Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3200 block of North Alexander. During the course of the stop officers conducted a search of the vehicle and found various items of drug paraphernalia along with a quantity of methamphetamine. The driver, identified as 43 year old Mendalyn Stebelton of Baytown, was placed under arrest for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance while passenger, 47 year old James Johnson of Baytown, was placed under arrest for an outstanding Parole Violation warrant.
