1 suspect arrested and charged over 720 grams of marijuana

 On April 23^rd at 3:42 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call at an apartment in the 1700 block of James Bowie. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant, and employee of the complex, who advised they were inside an apartment due to a potential leak and while in the apartment they observed what they believed to be marijuana. Officers then contacted the renter of the apartment, identified as 29 year old Timothy Lewis, who acknowledged there was a small amount of marijuana in the apartment. Officers would ultimately obtain a search warrant for the apartment and during their search officers located a quantity of marijuana, approximately 720 grams, or one and a half pounds. Timothy was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
