2 arrested in reference to a robbery at the East Little League Park

On May 1^st at 2:28 a.m., officers responded to the Power Mart in the 1600 block of North Alexander in reference to a robbery that had occurred at the East Little League Park on Tenth Street. Upon arrival, officers contacted the complainant who advised she was walking in the area of the East Little League Park when she was confronted by a white male and female, who asked her for her purse. When the complainant refused the two grabbed her purse, drug her through the parking lot of the ballpark, and began assaulting her, eventually gaining control of the purse and fleeing. Other officers checked the area of the ballpark and located a male and female in one of the dugouts that matched the description of the suspects, along with the complainant’s purse. The suspects, identified as 19-year-old Joshua Cuellar and 18-year-old Cloe Fields, were both taken into custody and transported to the Baytown Jail where they were both charged with Robbery and Joshua was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance after officers found methamphetamine on him at the jail.
