BPD was able to stop a vehicle pursuit that started on Rollingbrook

On May 21st officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1700 block of Rollingbrook. The suspect vehicle pulled into the parking lot of the Aria Apartments where the driver attempted to elude the officer and in the course of doing so, struck the gate and several parked cars.  Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped in the parking lot and detained both the driver, identified as 21 year old Javion Spencer and the passenger, identified as 33 year old Geiune Spencer. A search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia inside the car, while a handgun and small bag of marijuana was found discarded near where the car had struck the other cars. Both men were transported to the Baytown Jail where Geiune was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Javion was charged with Felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle.
