Gonzalez and Ortega booked on their respective charges

On May 19^th officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West Main and Lee Drive. During the course of the stop, officers found drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and found the passenger to be intoxicated. As a result, the driver, identified as 38-year-old Sergio Gonzalez of Laporte was placed under arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the passenger, identified as 45-year-old Armando Ortega of Laporte, was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication. Both were transported to the Baytown Jail where they were booked on their respective charges.
