The driver is facing Felony Evading on a Motor Vehicle after a lengthy pursuit


On May 26th at 10:14 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a Kawasaki motorcycle in the area of Highway 146 and Missouri. As officers initiated the stop the motorcycle refused to stop and led officers on a lengthy pursuit that went from Baytown to Highway 225 and Sens Road and back. The motorcycle would eventually make its way to the area of Hwy 99 and Kilgore Parkway where the rider lost control of the motorcycle and crashed in the grassy median, flipping the motorcycle several times. The rider, a 38-year-old male, who was conscious and able to talk as he was uncooperative and belligerent with the officers who were attempting to render aid to him. Once EMS arrived the male was transported to a Houston area hospital to be treated for his injuries. Charges of Felony Evading on a Motor Vehicle are pending on the 38-year-old as well as an active Parole Violation Warrant upon his release from the hospital.
