Two under arrested during a traffic stop at Hwy 146/Garth Road

On May 12^th at 5:11 p.m., officers conducted a stop of a vehicle in the area of Hwy 146 and Garth Road. Upon stopping the vehicle the officer contacted the occupants of the vehicle and during a computer check of the occupants they found that the driver, identified as 22 year old Joshua Critchett had outstanding local traffic warrants and therefore he was placed under arrest. During that process officers found a bag containing marijuana in his pocket and during a subsequent search of the vehicle they found additional marijuana and drug paraphernalia near where passenger, 23 year old Michael Elliott of Baytown was seated.  Michael was also then placed under arrest and the two were transported to the Baytown Jail where Joshua was booked in his traffic warrants and Michael was booked in for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
