BPD Needs Help Locating a Robbery Suspect


On June 6th at 3:53 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery that had occurred at the best Stop in the 3600 block of Highway 146. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised that a black male had entered the store and placed a box of Hostess snacks on the counter. When the clerk went to ring the item up the male pulled a knife and demanded the money from the register, however the clerk pressed the panic alarm and the suspect fled on foot without any of the money. The suspect was described as being 6 ft. tall, 170 pounds and wearing a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, white and black shirt, Khaki pants and was carrying a blue back pack. Detectives are investigating.
