Harris County DA Office Accepted Terroristic Threats on an Estrange Husband


On May 30th at 5:59 a.m., officers responded to a report of a threats at an apartment in the 900 block of Northwood. Upon arrival officers learned that earlier in the morning the complainant’s estranged husband had taken her vehicle earlier in the night from her residence in Houston. The complainant was able to track her vehicle to her estranged husband’s apartment in the 900 block of Northwood, where she confronted her estranged husband about taking her car. To this the estranged husband became angry and made threats to harm the complainant and her son. The complainant relocated the vehicle in an attempt to hide it from the suspect while she went to get another driver to come help her with transporting the vehicle back to Houston. Upon her arrival back at the apartment the complainant found her vehicle had been set on fire and the Baytown Fire Department  on scene extinguishing the fire. While the Baytown Fire Department Arson Investigators continue to investigate the fire, officers contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and advised them of the facts of the case at which time charges of Terroristic Threats were accepted on the estranged husband. Those charges are pending.
