BAYTOWN - On August 30th at 5:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon at the Tompkins Green Apartments in the 600 block of Massey Tompkins. Upon arrival officers were directed to a male in the parking lot, who allegedly had been in an altercation with a female and pulled a gun on her before fleeing on foot. Upon seeing the male, the officers called to him by name at which time the suspect fled on foot, refusing to comply with the officer’s commands to stop. The suspect was able to elude officers and charges of Felony Evading are pending.
