Large Scale Search in the Creekwood Subdivision


BAYTOWN - Late Wednesday evening, the Baytown police and it's K9 dogs searched the Creekwood Subdivision. The details are currently minimal right now. The address of interest was in the 500 block of Inwood and also Riverside Drive. BPD also searched the Parks on Riverside Drive. near the East Fork Goose Creek.





Baytown police requested the DPS Helicopter, but DPS was unavailable due to a high-risk pursuit in another county. Houston Police Department Helicopter assist in the search.





Baytown Police Department Released a statement: "On August 5th at 7:30 p.m., once of our officers attempted to conduct a stop of a stolen vehicle in the 600 block of Rollingbrook, as it was pulling into the Stonebrook Apartment. As the officers activated his emergency lights the vehicle accelerated, driving recklessly through the complex in an attempt to elude the officer. The suspect vehicle would subsequently come to an abrupt stop in the back of the complex at which time the occupants, all black males in their late teens, exited the vehicle and fled on foot while disregarding the officer's commands to stop. Responding officers gave chase and would ultimately locate the suspects with the assistance of Baytown Police K-9 units and Houston Police Department air support. The suspects were taken into custody which resulted in the driver, 17-year-old Diontre Lafleur, and a 16-year-old passenger both being charged with Misdemeanor Evading Arrest while the driver, a 15-year-old male, was charged with Felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle. All of the suspects were transported to the Baytown Jail where Lafleur was booked on his charge and the two juveniles were released to their guardians."
