Physical Disturbance led to Arrest of Two

On August 15th at 5:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of a physical disturbance at a residence on East Lobit. As officers arrived on the scene they could hear a verbal disturbance inside the residence. During the investigation officers made contact with two males, 44-year-old Quincy Williams and his brother 40-year-old Rodriques Williams. Officers learned that Quincy was the one causing the disturbance inside the residence and as they attempted to talk to him he became verbally aggressive towards the officers and as they attempted to pat him down for weapons he pushed the officer, which caused the officer to deploy his department issue Taser, which was not effective and as the officer attempted to then take Quincy into custody, he was struck in the face by Quincy’s brother, Rodriques. Officers were able to take both suspects into custody shortly thereafter. Both brothers were transported to the Baytown Jail where Quincy was booked on charges of Resisting Arrest and Rodriques was booked on charges of Assault on Police Officer.
