On October 16th at 9:23 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of South Alexander. Upon stopping the vehicle officers contacted the driver and the passenger of the vehicle and during the interaction the passenger provided a name that officers determined was fictitious. When confronted with this, the passenger gave another name, which officers quickly determined was also false. Officers were subsequently able to identify the passenger, through finger prints, as 45 year old Brandon Evans of Baytown, who was found to have an active Parole Warrant. Mr. Evans was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked on the warrant as well as a fresh charge of Failure to Identify through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
