BAYTOWN - On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, around 8:20 p.m. Harris County Sheriff's Office District 3 Deputies located a car wanted in a series of Failure to Stop and Give Information Incidents.
The deputies attempted to stop the car which fled but after several miles stopped I-10 East Freeder of Baytown. Captain Shannon said; "The driver resisted officers and a Taser was deployed before the suspect was subdued." The Baytown Fire Department responded to the incident in reference to the driver being tased to check on the condition of the suspect. The Baytown Fire Department released the suspect back into police custody.
The child in the vehicle was uninjured and turned over to CPS. According to HCSO, the Driver appeared to be intoxicated.
