Traffic Stop ended up in a Short Pursuit on November 19

On November 19^th at 6:05 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Pearce Street and 4^th Street. The vehicle, a Dodge Charger, refused to stop, leading officers in a pursuit that would eventually make its way to the area of Lee Drive and Bolster where the rear passenger jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot. The vehicle would ultimately make its way to the Valero located at Lee and Hwy 146, where it came to a stop and the driver, identified as Abraham Flores, and the front seat passenger, identified as 22-year-old Juan Gonzalez were taken into custody. Both were transported to the Baytown Jail where Abraham was booked on charges of Felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle as well as an outstanding warrant out of Harris County for Unlawful Carrying a Weapon while Juan was booked on a local warrant.
