CoB City Council APPROVED TIRZ Boundaries

The City Council approves and restates the boundaries of Reinvestment Zone No. One, City of Baytown, Texas.

On August 9, 2001, the City Council of the City of Baytown passed Ordinance No. 9197 creating Reinvestment Zone No. One, City of Baytown, Texas, (the “Zone”).  Thereafter, Council has approved both the annexation of land into the Zone and exclusion of land from the Zone.  Because of the multiple additions and exclusions relating to the Zone approved by the City Council over the life of the Zone and the possibility of confusion and error inherent therein, the Board of Directors of the Zone has requested, to better implement the Plan, that the City Council adopt an ordinance to approve and restate the boundaries of the Zone in one document.  Therefore, this ordinance approves and restates the boundaries of the Zone as requested by the Zone Board, and as previously approved in connection with the Zone's Project Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan, which was last amended, restated, and approved on March 9, 2017.
