Harris County DA Office accepted charges of Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Dangerous Drugs against James


On Wednesday, February 19th at 9:17 a.m., Baytown Police attempted to stop a gray Honda Accord in the 900 block of West Texas for traffic violations. The driver, later identified as 21-year-old Jacory James, failed to stop and evaded the officer until finally stopping on Laredo Street. The driver was searched and the officer recovered Oxycodone, Xanax and several plastic bags containing marijuana in his pants. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Dangerous Drugs were accepted on James.

Harris County DA Office involved after a report of a robbery at the Lakes of Madera Apartments


UPDATE: Late yesterday evening, 17-year-old Kain Lopez and 24 years old Tyler Lindmann, the two suspects officers quickly apprehended after the robbery occurred, were both charged with Aggravated Robbery through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for their involvement in this case. Lopez is also facing an additional charge of Evading Arrest for running from responding officers





On February 3rd at 7:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at the Lakes of Madera Apartments. While enroute officers were advised that two white males had entered an apartment and robbed the occupants before fleeing in what was described as a tan van. Responding officers located the van in the area and attempted to conduct a stop on the vehicle, which came to a stop in the parking lot of the Texaco located at the intersection of North Main and West Baker. Upon stopping, the passenger of the vehicle exited the van carrying a handgun and fled on foot. only to be apprehended a short distance away by officers. The driver of the van remained in the van and was also taken into custody. Officers located items inside the van linking them to the robbery at the apartment, including multiple handguns and a rifle. This investigation is still very active as detectives are conducting interviews and follow up the investigation before contacting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office to determine what, if any, charges the two suspects will face.
