BAYTOWN - On January 28th at 10:47 p.m., officers conducted a stop of a purple scooter traveling in the 500 block of Ruth Street. Officers identified the rider of the scooter as Walter Muth of Baytown. As the officer called out on the stop, he was advised by dispatch that the scooter was reported as stolen out of our agency on January 14th. Muth was placed under arrest and a subsequent search revealed him to be in possession of approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine. Muth was transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
