Ms. Arie actually had two outstanding warrants out of Harris County, one for Possession of a Controlled Substance and one for Driving While Intoxicated

On January  30th at 4:00 p.m. officers responded to a theft in progress at the Goodwill store in the 3500 block of Garth Road. The caller reported that a female had entered the store and was suspected of stealing items. Upon arrival, officers contacted the female who provided a name and date of birth to the officers. Upon checking that name officer found an outstanding warrant out of Galveston County for Failure to Appear and thus arrested the female. However, once at the jail, the female was fingerprinted and it was found her true identity was not as she had stated, instead she was identified as 38-year-old Kandy Arie of Baytown. A computer check of that name revealed that Ms. Arie actually had two outstanding warrants out of Harris County, one for Possession of a Controlled Substance and one for Driving While Intoxicated.
