Robbery at Lee College

On February 10th at 3:56 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery that had occurred at Lee College in the 200 block of Lee Drive. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant and learned that the victim was standing outside one of the buildings on campus when he was approached by an unknown black male, wearing a black jacket, white shirt and blue jeans. The suspect began intimidating the victim while telling him he needed money to get to Galveston and was able to coerce the victim into going inside to an ATM and make a withdrawal. While the victim was making the withdrawal the suspect shoved his arm as if to hurry him along and as the money was dispensed the suspect took it. After the first withdrawal, the suspect coerced the suspect to make a second withdrawal and once that money was dispensed the suspect shoved the victim and took that money as well and fled the area.
