On April 19th at 2:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at the Wal-Mart in the 4900 block of Garth Road in which a witness had observed a suspect steal the Chevrolet emblem off of a truck parked in the parking lot. Officers located the suspect vehicle a short time later and conducted a traffic stop on it in the 200 block of Murrill. Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and identified the driver as 31 year old Albert Moreno and the passenger as 31 year old Timothy Arceneaux, both of Baytown. During the course of their investigation, officers located the stolen emblem and also found Arceneaux to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. Officers also located synthetic marijuana and multiple glass pipes in the vehicle. As a result both Arceneaux and Moreno were transported to the Baytown Jail where Moreno was booked for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia while Arceneaux was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
