On May 23rd at 4:17 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of Cypress. Upon arrival in the area officers observed 17 year old Diamante Bren walking in the road with what appeared to be a handgun in sticking out of his pocket. As officers attempted to contact Brena he fled on foot and ultimately ran behind a residence before being apprehended by officers. Brena was taken into custody and transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked and charged with Evading Arrest or Detention through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
