On May 18th at 10:44 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 700 block of State Highway 146. During the course of the stop the officers located, inside the vehicle, a semi-automatic handgun in the rear seat area. The rear seat passenger, identified as 20 year old Lonnie Bell, was subsequently arrested and charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The driver and the other passenger were released without charges.
