On May 23rd at 2:24 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance between a male and female in the parking lot of America’s Best Value Inn in the 3900 block of Garth. Upon arrival officers contacted the two parties involved in the parking lot and during the ensuing investigation officers learned the male and female, who were in a relationship, had been arguing all day, and eventually the male asked to be dropped off at the motel where he planned to stay. As the male was dropped off, the female, identified as Chelsea Miller of Baytown, tried to run the complainant over multiple times with her vehicle and in fact actually struck the male with her vehicle. Ms. Miller was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where she was charged with Aggravated Assault through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
(The male was not injured in the incident)
