A Familiar Face Arrested on Charges of Felony Arson

On August 16th at 2:24 p.m., an officer was driving northbound on North Alexander when he observed a female, who he recognized from prior dealings as Chelsea  Falcon, walking in the parking lot of the Chevron in the 500 block of North Alexander and appeared agitated as she was yelling, waving her arms in the air and pointing at the store, an apparent common behavior for Ms. Falcon. The officer, being familiar with Ms. Falcon, kept an eye on her as he was passing the store and at one point he observed her grab one of the fuel nozzles from one of the pumps and appear to ignite the nozzle. The officer observed a large fireball come from the end of the nozzle and accelerated to the next opening in the median and turned around, traveling back to the store. As he arrived Ms. Falcon was gone and the officer quickly extinguished the fire, which was still burning from the end of the nozzle. Other officers in the area located Ms. Falcon hiding a short distance away and took her into custody and subsequently transported her to the Baytown Jail where she was booked on charges of Felony Arson charges. She is held with a $5,000.00 bond.
