Counterfeit currency, cocaine, marijuana, warrants and more on one Baytown Traffic Stop

BAYTOWN - On February 22^nd at 4:18 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Shady Hill. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers noticed the passenger, who initially gave a fictitious name but was later identified as 30-year-old Simon Haynes of Baytown, had a marijuana filled cigarette tucked behind his ear. Haynes, who was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Harris County, was placed under arrest at that time while officers conducted a computer check of the driver, identified as 27-year-old Cheyene Schultea of Crosby, and found she too had several outstanding warrants out of Harris County. Both subjects were transported to the Baytown Jail where Ms. Schultea was found to also be in possession of several hundred dollars in counterfeit currency as well as a small amount of cocaine. The two were booked into the jail under the below charges.

Failure to Identify – fresh charge for lying about his name
Warrant – Criminal Mischief

Warrant – Failure to Identify
Warrant -  Theft
Fresh Charge – Possession of a Controlled Substance/Cocaine

Jose Cabrera of Baytown over outstanding local traffic warrants

On February 5^th at 9:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1900 block of Decker Drive. Upon stopping the vehicle officers contacted the driver, identified as 39-year-old Jose Cabrera of Baytown, and during that contact is was learned that he had outstanding local traffic warrants and was subsequently arrested and transported to the Baytown Jail. 

Two Highlands Residents Arrested for Outstanding Warrants

BAYTOWN - On January 28^th officer located and arrested 64-year-old Linda Powers and 32-year-old Jacob Powers on outstanding warrants in the 1700 block of South Main in Highlands after they were observed leaving their residence. Both subjects were transported to the Baytown Jail and booked on the following warrants.

Micah booked on the outstanding warrants, charged with class C theft for the printer cartridges and Possession of a Controlled Substance through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office

On January 26^th at 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft in progress at the Wal-Mart in the 4900 block of Garth Road. Upon arrival officers contacted  Wal-Mart Loss Prevention had a subject detained who was identified as 25 year old Micah Martinez of Baytown, after observing him take two printer cartridges of the shelf, conceal them and walk out of the store. Officers ran a computer check of Micah and learned he had multiple local warrants as well. Upon searching Micah, officers found a several small baggies which contained methamphetamine and several prescription pills inside a fanny pack Micah was wearing. Also located in the fanny pack was a digital scale and several more empty small baggies commonly used for packaging narcotics for sale. Micah was transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked on the outstanding warrants, charged with class C theft for the printer cartridges and Possession of a Controlled Substance through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
